Description of key information

The stability of the substance in air and water is low. The QSAR calculated rate constant for the OH sensitized photodegradation of the substance is approximately 50.2550 E-12 cm3/(molecule * s). At 500,000 OH radicals / cm3, this corresponds to a half-life of 7.7 hours. The hydrolysis of the substance was tested according to OECD TG 111 (2004) and EU Method C.7 (2008). The test substance was found to be not hydrolytically stable. Half-lives at pH 4 and pH 9 were significantly below 10 minutes at 20 °C. The half-life at pH 7 was 449 (433-466) minutes at 20 °C, 225 (220-230) minutes at 30 °C and 87.0 (81.6-92.4) minutes at 40 °C. The correlation coefficients r2 were 0.996, 0.997 and 0.994 at these temperatures, confirming pseudo-first order kinetics.
