First-aid measures

General Information: The production will take place under strictly controlled conditions so a release to the environment or contact to human/animal is unlikely.
Only in case of accidential release:
Inhalation: Ensure supply of fresh air. In the event of symptoms seek medical advice.
Skin contact: In case of contact with skin wash immediately with soap and water. Consult a doctor if skin irritation persists.
Eye contact: In case of contact with eyes rinse thoroughly with plenty of water and seek medical advice.
Ingestion: Rinse out mouth and give plenty of water to drink. Induce the patient to vomit of his own accord only if fully conscious. Get medical advice.

Fire-fighting measures

In case of fire:
Suitable extinguishing media: Foam, dry powder, water jet, carbon dioxide. Do not use full water jet.
Risk of formation of toxic pyrolysis products: sulphur oxides (SOx) and Nitrogen oxides (NOx).
Do not inhale combustion gases. Use self-containes breathing apparatus. Cool containers at risk with water spray jet. Fire residues must be disposed of in accordance within the local regulations.

Accidental release measures

Personal precautions:
Use only in special chemical reactor. (Strictly controlled conditions) Release in the air and the environment is unlikely.
Avoid dust formation. Ensure adequate ventilation. Use personal equipment.
Dispose substance in closed vessel for further incineration.

Handling and storage

Handling: (The handling and production will take place under the GMP guidelines for production of pharmaceuticals). Only
Use only in special chemical reactor. (Strictly controlled conditions) Release in the air and the environment is unlikely.
Avoid the formation and deposition of dust.
Provide vacuuming if dust raised.
Do not eat or drink when working. Do not smoke. Use barrier skin cream. Wash hands before breaks and after work.
Storage:
Keep only in original container.
Do not store together with oxidizing agents.
Keep container tightly closed.
Keep container in a well-ventilated place. Keep in a cool place. Store in a dry place.

Exposure controls / personal protection

Ensure adequate ventilation on workstation.
Eye protection: Safety goggles (EN 166:2001)
Hand protection: Use gloves:
in full contact: butyl rubber, >120 min (EN 374)
in splash contact: natural latex, > 120 min (EN 374)
Avoid contact to eyes and skin.
Respiratory protection:In case of dust formation: Short term filter apparatus, filter P2 (DIN EN 143)

Stability and reactivity

The substance is chemical stable under standard conditions but will be oxidised by strong oxidising agents. Reactions with strong acids and bases.

Disposal considerations

Dispose of as hazardous waste. Waste No: (AVV or EAV) 07 05 13* "solid wastes containing dangerous substances"
