Additional information

The partition coefficient n-octanol/water of Lime Oxide was determined by the reverse phase HPLC method according to OECD Guidelines, Method 117. In the conditions of the test, the chromatograms of Lime oxide show four peaks with relative peak areas of 22.4%, 7.6%, 25.8% and 44.1%. These peaks correspond respectively to partition coefficients (Log Pow) of 3.3, 4.7, 4.8 and 4.9.

Based on the known composition of the substance, the measured log Kow value of 3.3 is assigned to the assessment entity "monoterpene ether constituents" for the purpose of the environmental risk assessment and PBT assessment.
