Applicant's summary and conclusion

Interpretation of results:
GHS criteria not met
Conclusions:
Chinizarin roh is not irritating to the eyes (cornea score, iris score, conjunctivae score and chemosis score = 0 at 24, 48 and 72 hours). According to CLP classification criteria (Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008) a classification is therefore not justified.
Executive summary:

50 mg test substance was applied into the conjuctival sac of 2 rabbits. Post exposure time was 7 days. Eyes were examinated after application of test substance up to 7 days.

Chinizarin roh is not irritating to the eyes (cornea score, iris score, conjunctivae score and chemosis score = 0 at 24, 48 and 72 hours).
