Description of key information

The hydrolysis of 6H-Dibenz[c,e][1,2]oxaphosphorin, 6,6'-(1,2-ethanediyl)bis-, 6,6'-dioxide was performed using the OECD guideline N°111. In the frame of the experimental study,  it has been observed that the rate of hydrolysis increases with an increase in pH.
The rate constant and estimated half-life at 25°C of the test item are:
* pH 4: 1.50 x 10-7 second-1 (Rate constant), 53.5 days (Estimated half-life at 25°C)
* pH 7: 7.57 x 10-6 second-1 (Rate constant), 25.4 hours (Estimated half-life at 25°C)
* pH 9: 4.61 x 10-4 second-1 (Rate constant),0.418 hours (Estimated half-life at 25°C)
