Conclusions:
The pH values of Me3TACN and TMEM were 12.53 and 12.41, respectively. Me3TACN and TMEM should therefore be classified as corrosive.
Executive summary:

The aim of these experiments was to find out the pH of 1 % solutions of Me3TACN and TMEM in water.

Compounds leading to very high pH after being dissolved /diluted in water at a 1 % concentration must be classified as corrosive. If this applies to Me3TACN and TMEM, the corrosive label would have to be used and many tests could be avoided.

The ligands were dissolved in demi water and the pH was measured at room temperature.

The pH values of Me3TACN and TMEM were 12.53 and 12.41, respectively. Me3TACN and TMEM should therefore be classified as corrosive.
