Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The substance is a powder at 1013 hPa and 20 °C.

Melting of substance was observed between 202 and 241 °C; no decomposition or boiling point was recorded up to 450 °C.

The relative density was determined by means of a pycnometer as 1.248 at 20 °C.

The substance is not soluble (ca. 0.02 mg/l at 25 °C) and no log Pow could be determined experimentally. Vapour pressure was estimated to be negligible, i.e. ca 10 -8 Pa at 25 °C; surface tension and flash point can be neglected.

Both experimental data as well as known experience in handling and use indicated the substance as non auto-flammable or flammable.

No explosive or oxidising potential is expected for test substance, based on thermal profile recorded in a DSC analysis and on chemical structure, respectively.
