Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove to fresh air; symptomatic treatment

Emergency measure - Eyes: Rinse with water for at least 15 minutes

Emergency measure - Skin: Wash with water

Fire-fighting measures

Recommended extinguishing agent: Combustion products may contain metal oxide smoke. Water

mist; foam or dry powder (eg sand, earth) are suitable

extinguishing agents. Wear a self-contained breathing

apparatus.

Accidental release measures

Emergency measures in case of spillage: Damp down spilt material and transfer to waste containers

for disposal at a controlled landfill site.

Handling and storage

Handling: The substance should be treated as a potential nuisance

dust. Personal exposure should be kept below 10 mg/m3

8-hour TWA total inhalable dust or 5 mg/m3 8-hour TWA

respirable dust. Otherwise, respirators should be worn (eg

BS 6016, Type 1/M).
