Based on the available experimental and estimated data 4 -chlorotoluene is assessed to be not B/vB. In addition the substance is also not T as the long-term effect values for all three trophic levels are above the critical value. The available degradability data do not allow a final assessment of the substance's persistency. However, as 4 -chlorotoluene is neither B/vB nor T, 4 -chlorotolluene is assessed to be not PBT/vPvB.
