Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Results

In accordance with the Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 of the European parliament and of the council on the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH), annex VII standard information requirements for substances, chapter 7, column 2, 7.5. vapour pressure the experimental study was not needed to be conducted if the melting point is above 300 °C.

The reported test data of the melting point study (see project 20150063.01) showed that the solid test item has no melting point in the measurement range of 25 – 500 °C. Therefore, according to the regulation cited above the determination of the vapour pressure has not to be performed.

Executive summary:

According to theRegulation (EC) No 1907/2006 of the European parliament and of the council on the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH), annex VII standard information requirements for substances, chapter 7, column 2, 7.5. vapour pressure, a vapour pressure study of the test item had not to be performed as the melting point is above 300 °C.

Description of key information
