The UVCB read-across source substance WS405777 has very low water solubility (< 1 mg/l). In the acute aquatic toxicity tests performed with water accommodated fractions (WAFs) the substance did not exhibit toxic effects (L(E)C50) up to the limits of its water solubility in freshwater organisms of three trophic levels.Correspondingly, no PNECs can be derived.

The same conclusion can be drawn for the read-across target substance WS406663 based on the close chemical similarity between the two substances (see IUCLID Section 13 „Validity Assessment Report“ for the read-across approach).

Conclusion on classification

Based on the results of the available studies performed with the read-across substance WS405777 also no classification of the read-across target substance WS406663 for environmental hazards is necessary according to European classification rules [Regulation (EC) 1272/2008] (see IUCLID Section 13 „Validity Assessment Report“ for the read-across approach).
