Description of key information

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Skin sensitisation

Endpoint conclusion
Endpoint conclusion:
no adverse effect observed (not sensitising)
Additional information:

The old 1980 GPMT indicated very slight erythema at 10% challenge in 3 animals but not at 5% challenge. This study was conducted in 1980 has deficiencies and is not suitable as a standalone test to indicate classification. Therefore 2 in vitro assays (DPRA and KeratinoSens) were conducted. These 2 in vitro assays indicate no reactions sufficient for classification.

Migrated from Short description of key information:
Old 1980 GPMT. Two new in vitro assays conducted indicate no reactions.

Justification for selection of skin sensitisation endpoint:
GPMT and in vitro DPRA and KeratinoSens

Justification for classification or non-classification
