Any other information on results incl. tables

The QSAR software program KOWWIN 1.68 (US EPA 2012 Estimation Programs Interface Suite™ for Microsoft® Windows, v 4.10. United States Environmental Protection Agency, Washington, DC, USA) gave an estimated log POW of 3.89.

Result of HPLC determination:

As peak 1 showed a relative area 5 %, this peak was considered as minor peak. Although area is not necessarily correlated to absolute concentration if a UV detector is used, it is assumed that the test item consists mainly of peak 2. Using the correlation log K / log POW, the log POW of the major component of test item MAEEBP was calculated as 3.708 ± 0.001 (mean ± standard deviation).

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
The log POW of MAEEBP was determined using the HPLC method according to OECD 117 resp. EU A.8. The partitioning coefficient for the major component of test item MAEEBP was calculated as 3.708.
