Additional information

A GLP guideline studies on Eisenia fetida following OECD guideline 207 has been conducted using the read-across substance (CAS 7023 -61-2; RCC Ltd. 2007; read-across justification is attached in chapter 13). The animals were exposed for 14 days and the test substance was mixed with artificial soil. After 7 and 14 days of exposure, no mortality was observed at any of the test concentrations up to and including the highest test concentration of 1000 mg/kg dry soil. Moreover, no abnormal behavior of the test organisms or other symptoms of toxicity were recorded at the test organisms at any of the treatment groups and their body weight was not affected up to the highest test concentration of 1000 mg/kg dry soil. Therefore, the NOEC and LC0 were determined to be => 1000 mg/kg dry soil and the EC50 after 14 d was determined to be > 1000 mg/kg dry soil.
