Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The toxcity to aquatic algae and cyanobacteria was assessed in a GLP study according to OECD guideline 201. The test was conducted as limit test with a nominal concentration of 100 mg/L as saturated solution. Due to the low water solubility (< 10 µg/L) no analytical concentration control was performed. No solubiliser was used to prepare the test substance solutions. At the end of the 72h exposure period no inhibitory effect on the growth rate could be observed. The EC10 and EC50 values are > 100 mg/L.
