The partition coefficient is dervied from an experimental study following a scientifically accepted guideline. The study is well documented. No or only minor deviations could be detected during determination. The result could therefore be considered as valid and is chosen as key value for the chemical safety assessment. The result is supported by a secondary source. Although the derived partition coefficient is slightly different the experimental result is chosen as key value as part of a worst-case approach.
