Additional information

No information on the methods used is available. However, this information is taken from the Merck Index (O'Neil 2006) which is a peer reviewed handbook and can be considered reliable and suitable for use as the key study for this endpoint. In addition, this reference was used as the key study in the draft SIDS for propene (2003). The supporting study (Lide, 2008), also a peer reviewed handbook, reports a melting point value of -185.24 °C and supports the value reported in the key study.
