Test organisms

Test organisms (species):
Eisenia fetida
Animal group:
annelids
Details on test organisms:
Earthworm (Eiseniafoetida) was selected as a test species because it is recommended by MEP Guideline for Testing of Chemicals N o.207.
The test earthwonn (Eisenia ji:Jetida) was obtained from Chenggong Earthworm Raising Farm in Dongli District, Tianjin. The batch number was earthworm20170626.
The domestication conditions of earthworms were 20±2°C, 80±15% relative humidity and continuous light. The adult (at least two months old with clitellum) worms with an individual weight of 0.3000~0.5635 g were used in the test.

Details on results:
At the end of test, there was no difference in earthworm weight reduce rate between the test and control group. The moisture content was 30.0% and 30.0% for control and test medium at the beginning of the test and was in the range of28.8%-29.6% and 29.3-29.8% for control and test medium at the end of the test.
The pH value was 5.51 and 4.92 for control and test medium, respectively.
During the exposure period, there was no mortality or abnormal signs observed at control and 1000 mg/kg dry soil weight test group.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Validity criteria fulfilled:
yes
Conclusions:
No mortality of the test organisms was observed during the test. According to the results, the acute toxicity of Sa 190 was:
LC50(7 d): > 1000mg/kg dry soil weight
LC50(14 d): > 1000mg/kg dry soil weight
Executive summary:

No mortality of the test organisms was observed during the test. According to the results, the acute toxicity of Sa 190 was:

LC50(7 d): > 1000mg/kg dry soil weight

LC50(14 d): > 1000mg/kg dry soil weight
