Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Validity criteria fulfilled:
yes
Conclusions:
The results show that under valid static test conditions, the 96 h-LC50 of Sal 90 to fish (Rare minnow, Gobiocypris rarus) is greater than the nominal concentration of the 110 mg/L WAF (measured concentration 0.417 mg/L), while the maximum concentration causing no mortality (96 h-LCo) was equal to the nominal concentration of 110 mg/L W AF (measured concentration 0.417 mg/L). i.e.:
96 h-LCso > 110 mg/L WAF (measured concentration 0.417 mg/L);
96 h-LCo = 110 mg/L WAF (measured concentration 0.417 mg/L).
Executive summary:

The results show that under valid static test conditions, the 96 h-LC50 of Sal 90 to fish (Rare minnow, Gobiocypris rarus) is greater than the nominal concentration of the 110 mg/L WAF (measured concentration 0.417 mg/L), while the maximum concentration causing no mortality (96 h-LCo) was equal to the nominal concentration of 110 mg/L W AF (measured concentration 0.417 mg/L). i.e.:

96 h-LCso > 110 mg/L WAF (measured concentration 0.417 mg/L);

96 h-LCo = 110 mg/L WAF (measured concentration 0.417 mg/L).
