First-aid measures

Inhalation: If breathed in, move person into fresh air. In case of feeling unwell consult a physician.

Skin contact: Wash off immediately with plenty of water removing all contaminated clothes and shoes. Consult a physician if necessary.

Eye contact: Rinse thoroughly with plenty of water, also under the eyelids. Consult an ophthalmologist if necessary.

Ingestion: Clean mouth with water and drink afterwards plenty of water. Do NOT induce vomiting. Consult a physician if necessary.

Fire-fighting measures

Suitable extinguishing media: Water mist, Foam, Carbon dioxide (CO2), Dry powder.

Specific hazards during fire fighting: Irritant and toxic fumes are formed in burning.

Special protective equipment for fire-fighters: In the event of fire, wear self-contained breathing apparatus.

Accidental release measures

Personal precautions: Use personal protective equipment.

Methods for cleaning up: Soak up with inert absorbent material (e.g. sand, silica gel, acid binder, universal binder). Keep in suitable, closed containers for disposal.

Handling and storage

Storage:
Keep tightly closed in a dry, cool and well-ventilated place. Bulk product: cold protection below 0°C.
Should the product become opaque, thicken or freeze due to cold conditions, allow to thaw slowly at room temperature. After a short stirring time it will again be ready for use.

Occupational exposure controls:
Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Do not breathe vapours, aerosols. Do not eat, drink or smoke when
using this product. Ensure adequate ventilation.
Wash hands before breaks and at the end of workday. Use protective skin cream.

Respiratory protection: If significant amounts of vapour, mist or aerosol are present use respiratory protection. (filter ABEK-P2)
