The substance is inorganic. Due to its very low water solubility and its inert character the substance is not expected to be bioavailable to terrestrial organisms. This is supported by the toxicological and ecotoxicological effect data.

Furthermore, the available aquatic ecotoxicological studies and the results of the OECD 29 transformation/dissolution test showed that the substance is not hazardous to aquatic organisms. Therefore, it is very unlikely that the substance is hazardous to terrestrial organisms and thus, terrestrial tests were not conducted and are considered as not necessary.
