The substance is assumed to be stable in the environment. Due to its low water solubility and its inert character the substance is neither expected to hydrolyse nor to adsorb to soil and suspended particles. The physico-chemical characteristics of the substance indicate that the substance is not bioavailable and thus will not accumulate in organisms.

A transformation/dissolution test according to OECD 29 with the substance, however, demonstrated that small amounts of the individual inorganic building blocks of this substance (i.e., the elements Cr and Antimony) could be released in aqueous media. The results of the available OECD 29 test and aquatic ecolotoxicological tests showed that the elements which could be transformated/dilluted are of no relevance. Thus, no further data for Cr and Sb were presented here.
