Description of key information
According to REACh Directive (REGULATION (EC) No 1907/2006), the study does not need to be conducted seeing the large enough mammalian dataset that is available on Menthols and the very low toxicity concerns raised by exposure to this substance. Moreover, birds exposure via environment release is negligible considering the readily biodegradability properties of L-Menthol.
