Guideline- and GLP-compliant acute rat oral and rabbit dermal studies.

Additional information

The rat (Sprague Dawley) oral LD50 was found to be > 5,000 mg/kg, the highest dose tested. The rabbit (New Zealand White) dermal LD50 was > 2,000 mg/kg, the highest dose tested. No mortalities occurred in either study. No clinical signs of toxicity during the 14 d observation period or gross lesions on necropsy were observed in either study.
