Toxicity to aquatic algae and cyanobacteria

Currently viewing:

Administrative data

Endpoint:
toxicity to aquatic algae and cyanobacteria
Type of information:
experimental study
Adequacy of study:
key study
Reliability:
1 (reliable without restriction)
Rationale for reliability incl. deficiencies:
other: GLP study according to guideline, no analytical determinations performed but the test item is regarded as stable under test conditions (see also the supporting study) and nonominal values can be used.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
Under the conditions of this algal inhibition study the test item triacetonamine showed an NOEC of 200 mg/L (based on biomass) and a EC50 value of 566.2 mg/L based on growth rate.
