Description of key information

No half-life was calculated in the key study. For the supporting study, a half-life of 1.1 years was determined.

Additional information

Two studies were summarized under this endpoint. The key study, did not draw any conclusion due to the rapid disappearance of CS2in almost all trials. Carbon disulfide disappearance can be related to its high volatilization or high fugacity from water to air. Concerning the supporting study, since no hydrolysis was observed, the half-life was extrapolated at pH of 9, of 1.1 years. The validity of the calculated half-life is questionable. For risk assessment purposes, no half-life will be defined for CS2
