The log Koc was calculated using the computer programm SRC PCKOCWIN v1.66 to be 2.65. The estimated Koc resulted in 443.

Description of key information

The log Koc was calculated using the computer programm SRC PCKOCWIN v1.66 to be 2.65. The estimated Koc resulted in 443.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The log Koc was calculated using the computer programm SRC PCKOCWIN v1.66 to be 2.65. The estimated Koc resulted in 443. This calculated Koc is in the same order of magnitude as the measured Koc values in soil of 316 (log Koc = 2.5) and 383 (log Koc = 2.6) which are cited in the BUA report 53 (1990). Thus, 1,2-dichlorobenzene has only a low potential for adsorption in soil.
