Additional information

In accordance with Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006, Column 2 of Annex IX, section 9.1.5 long-term toxicity tests on aquatic organisms are not needed if the outcome of the chemical safety assessment indicates no unacceptable effects on aquatic organisms. In a first step, the PNEC for the aquatic environment is derived from tests on short-term toxicity. As the risk to aquatic organisms that are exposed to triallyl isocyanurate is acceptable, the effect of triallyl isocyanurate on aquatic organisms does not need to be investigated further and a long-term test with invertebrates is not required.
