Additional information

p-TSC is hydrolytically instable with a maximum half-life of 2.6 min. at pH 9 and 25 °C.

It is readily biodegradable. p-TSC is instantly hydrolysed to p-TS Acid, which is readily biodegradable as well.

No adsorption to soil and sediment is expected as p-TSC is readily biodegradable, hydrolysis is very fast and the degradation product is p-TS Acid which is also readily biodegradable, has a low log Kow and is soluble in water. Therefore degradation in soil and sediment is waived as well as adsorption/desorption studies.

P-TSC is readily biodegradable. It shows fast hydrolysis to p-TS acid which has a low log Kow, so there is no concern for bioaccumulation.
