Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

A Henry's law constant of 81.6 Pa m3/mol at environmental temperature (12 °C) will be used for TAEE in the assessment.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Henry's law constant (H) (in Pa m³/mol):
81.6
at the temperature of:
12 °C

Additional information

For TAEE, the mean vapour pressure at 20 °C was calculated from the experimental regression equations to be 4,361 Pa, and the water solubility was 3,917 mg/l at 20 °C (Covance Laboratories Ltd, 2009a). Using the molecular mass of 116 g/mol, this solubility may be expressed as 33.71 mol/m3 (3,917 divided by 116). The Henry's law constant (H) is therefore 129 Pa m3/mol at 20 °C and the log value is 2.11. This corresponds to a Henry's law constant of 72.9 Pa m3/mol at environmental temperature (12 °C); this value will be used in the assessment.
