The study was a GLP compliant laboratory study. The experimental procedure was based on ASTM-E 659-78 and conformed to the requirements of EC Directive 92/69/EEC Method A15. The auto-ignition temperature of TAEE was determined to be 289°C (with a discrimination of ± 5°C), with a sample volume of 0.1 mL, at an atmospheric pressure of 99.0 kPa.
