Additional information

EBTBP is not readily biodegradable, and is not expected to undergo hydrolysis. EBTBP is expected to be persistent, although tests beyond ready biodegradability have not been undertaken. Due to its insolubility in both water and organic solvents, EBTBP is expected to have very limited availability to bacteria, which will affect the ability of bacteria to biotransform the substance. EBTBP's limited solubility, high melting point and negligible vapor pressure have inhibited development of an accurate, sensitive and specific method of analysis.
