Description of key information

Based on the weight of evidence appraoch, the no observed effect concentration (NOEC) value of allyl acetoacetate in algae Pseudokirchneriella subcapitata in a 72 hr studybased upon effect on growthwas estimated to be 166.1863 mg/L. In addition, the effective concentration (EC50) value of allyl acetoacetate in green algae Chlorococcales in a 24 hr study based upon effect on physiology was estimated to be 1217.818 mg/L. The other studies also indicate that the chemical shall not exhibit aquatic toxicity to aquatic algae.
