Description of key information

A 24 hour Daphnia toxicity study was performed according to the OECD 201 Guideline (April, 1984). The study was conducted as part of a validation process for a number of materials. Therefore, only the test conditions of the studies and the results are presented. The 24 hour EC50 value for thioanisole exposed to Daphnia magna was calcuated to be 3.0 mg/L with 95% confidence limits of 2.2 to 4.0 mg/L.
