- Justification:
The partition coefficient (log Kow) of 1,3 -diphenyl-2 -thiourea was assessed according to a method similar to the shake-flask method. The value obtained (log Kow = 2) is < 4.5, which means that the substance should not be considered as bioaccumulable. This value is consolidated by a QSAR estimation (log Kow = 3.6 ; OPERA v1.5) used in the risk assessment of the substance.
1,3 -diphenyl-2 -thiourea is thus not a PBT or vPvB substance.
