Additional information

Short-term toxicity to fish

The LC50 was determined to be 199.2 mg/L.

Short-term toxicity to aquatic invertebrates

The EC50 (48 h) was calculated to be 193 mg/L with confidence limits of 145 and 313 mg/L. The EC100 (48 h) was calculated to be 500 mg/L.

Toxicity to aquatic algae

The toxicity to algae was assessed according to EU method C.3. In a 72-hour toxicity test with freshwater algal species Desmodesmus subspicatus, the EbC50 (based on biomass) and ErC50 (based on growth rate) values were determined to be 29 mg/L and 43 mg/L (nominal concentrations, WAF), respectively. The no-observed-effect concentration (NOEC) and the lowest-oberved-effect-concentration (LOEC) was determined to be 12.5 mg/L and 25 mg/L (both nominal concentrations, WAF), respectively.

Toxicity to microorganisms

The 3 h-EC10 and 3 h-EC50 values were determined to be 350 and 1770 mg/L, respectively.
