Interpretation of results (migrated information):
negative without metabolic activation

In vitro study for reverse mutation on Salmonella Thypimurium, strain TA98, TA100, without rat liver S9 metabolic activation is negative.
Executive summary:

Data have been obtaioned from a secondary source, that mentions Chiu CW, Lee LH, Wang CY, et al. 1978. Mutagenicity of some commercially available nitro compounds. Mutat Res 58:l l-22. An in vitro study of reverse mutation on procariotic organism Salmonella Thypimurium, strain TA98, TA100 was performed without rat liver S9 microsomes metabolic activation.

The results show that 2,4 -dinitrophenol is negative for reverse mutation test.
