Additional information

Two studies, valid with restrictions, are available (ABC Labs, Cohle and McAllister, 1983 a & b).

One study was performed with rainbow trout (Salmo gairdneri) according to EPA 660/3-75-009 and APHA, 1975, guideline and had a static set up. The LC50 (96h) determined for p-Toluenesulfonamide was 102 mg/L, based on nominal concentrations.

The other study was performed with bluegill sunfish (Lepomis macrochirus) according to EPA 660/3-75-009 and APHA, 1975, guideline and had a static set up. Bluegill sunfish turned out to be less sensitive with a LC50 (96h) for p-Toluenesulfonamide of 370 mg/L, based on nominal concentrations.
