Applicant's summary and conclusion

Interpretation of results:
not classified
Remarks:
Migrated information Criteria used for interpretation of results: EU
Conclusions:
The acute oral median lethal dose (approx. LD50) of 5-nitrosalicylic acid in rat was found to be 2400 mg/kg of body weight. Acute toxicity of 5-nitrosalicylic acid to male and female rat indicates that 5-nitrosalicylic acid does not exhibits acute toxicity by the oral route within above mention dose.
