Description of key information

Adsorption: Weight of evidence: experimental result and estimation by EPI Suite: Based on experimental results, trichloroacetic acid was found to have a Koc value of 1 and showed little or no adsorption to soil. Using the PCKOCWIN v1.66 model of EPI Suite v3.20, the soil adsorption coefficient (Koc) of trichloroacetic acid is 2.738 (log Koc = 0.437).

Key value for chemical safety assessment
