The particle size measurement could not be performed because the sample is hygroscopic. The scanning electron microscope operates in high vacuum with an electron beam. Upon impact of the electron beam, the sample sublimates immediately. Thus a recording and evaluation of the imaging of the sample is not possible. The sublimation of the sample was exemplarily documented after 22 hours with light microscopy.
