A non-GLP guideline study according to OECD 301E is available for the assessment of the biodegradability of the test substance. In this study, the biodegradation degree was measured to be approx. 87 % (based on DOC removal) after a test duration of 28 days ( BASF AG 1/91/0040/20/1, 1991). Since the substance is multiconstituent, the 10-days window concept does not apply. The very high degree of biodegradation after 28 days in the screening test (approx. 90 %) demonstrates however that the substance is rapidly and extesively removed from the environment via microbial degradation.
