No flash point was detected up to 100°C (EU method A.9/DIN EN ISO 2719; Pensky-Martens closed-cup).

The flash point of MAPTAC (50% aqueous solution) was determined according to EU test method A.9 (30 May 2008) and DIN EN ISO 2719 using the Pensky-Martens closed-cup method. During the preliminary test the sample started boiling at a temperature of about 100°C due to the high percentage of water. For this reason the analysis had to be aborted, a flash point was not detected up to this temperature.
