An acute toxicity study with Daphnia magna was conducted according to EC Directive 79/831/EEC, Annex V, Part C. An EC50 of 50 mg/L (nominal) after 48 hours of exposure was determined.

In this static test, the test concentrations were analytically verified.

Therefore, DBU is considered to be acutely harmful to aquatic invertebrates.
