Additional information

A study was conducted to determine the vapour pressure of 2-Methylbutan-2-ol.

BASF study SIK-No. 84/1036 deterined the vapour pressure of 2-Methylbutan-2-ol to be 15.5 hPa at 20°C.

Furthermore the vapour pressure of 2-Methylbutan-2-ol was calculated by DIPPR (HSDB) to be 22.26 hPa at 25 °C and GESTIS determined the vapour pressure to be 16 HPa at 20 °C and 99 hPa at 50 °C. The values are in the same range and regarded to be reliable for 2-Methylbutan-2-ol.

The value from the study was chosen as the most reliable one for the vapour pressure.
