Description of key information

The substance does not need to be classified for adverse effects to the aquatic environment. Daphnia proved to be the most sensitive organism, showing the lowest acute effect level with an EC50 of 88 mg/L. Fish are the least sensitive to exposure with the substance. In long-term toxicity studies, the NOEC in all three trophic levels (fish, daphnids, algae) lies above 1 mg/L (7.95 mg/L in Daphnia and 4.6 mg/L in algae).
