First-aid measures
Description of first aid measures
In case of skin contact: immediately take off all contaminated clothing. Areas of the body that have - or are only even suspected of having - come into contact with the product must be rinsed immediately with plenty of running water and possibly with soap. Wash thoroughly the body (shower or bath). Remove contaminated clothing immediatley and dispose off safely. After contact with skin, wash immediately with soap and plenty of water.
In case of eyes contact: after contact with the eyes, rinse with water with the eyelids open for a sufficient length of time, then consult an opthalmologist immediately. Protect uninjured eye.
In case of Ingestion: do not under any circumstances induce vomiting. Obtain a medical examination immediately.
In case of Inhalation: in case of inhalation, consult a doctor immediately and show him packing or label.
Most important symptoms and effects, both acute and delayed
None.
Indication of any immediate medical attention and special treatment needed
In case of accident or unwellness, seek medical advice immediately (show directions for use or safety data sheet if possible). Treatment: None.
Fire-fighting measures
Extinguishing media
Use water spray, alcohol-resistant foam, dry chemical or carbon dioxide.
Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture
N/A.
Advice for firefighters
Wear positive-pressure self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) and protective firefighting clothing (includes firefighting helmet, coat, pants, boots and gloves). If protection equipment is not available or not used, fight fire from a protected location or safe distance.
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures
In case of accidental release of a large volume, clear all personnel from area. Do not breathe vapors. Ventilate area of leak or spill. Wear protective equipment including positive pressure self-contained or air supplied breathing apparatus. Follow confined space entry procedures if applicable, ASTM D-4276 and OSHA 29CFR 1910.146.
Environmental precautions
Contain product to prevent contamination of soil, surface water or groundwater. For large spills: contain product, transfer to properly labeled closed metal containers. For small spills: mop or soak up immediately, place in properly labeled metal containers.
Methods and material for containment and cleaning up
Do not touch spilled material without suitable protection (See section 8). After material is completely picked up, wash the spill site with soap and water and ventilate the area. Put all wastes in a plastic bag for disposal and seal it tightly. Remove, clean, or dispose of contaminated clothing.
Reference to other sections
See section "EXPOSURE CONTROLS/PERSONAL PROTECTION" and "DISPOSAL CONSIDERATIONS".
Handling and storage
Precautions for safe handling
Limit all unnecessary personal contact. Wear protective clothing when risk of exposure occurs. Use in a well-ventilated area. Avoid contact with incompatible materials. When handling, do not eat, drink or smoke. Keep containers securely sealed when not in use. Avoid physical damage to containers. Always wash hands with soap and water after handling. Work clothes should be laundered separately. Use good occupational work practice. Observe manufacturer's storing and handling recommendations.
Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities
Store in original containers. Keep containers securely sealed. Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area. Store away from incompatible materials and foodstuff containers. Protect containers against physical damage and check regularly for leaks.
Observe manufacturer's storing and handling recommendations.
Specific end use(s)
Do not cut, drill, grind or weld such containers. In addition ensure such activity is not performed near full, partially empty or empty containers without appropriate workplace safety authorization or permit.

Exposure controls / personal protection
Control parameters
Provide general and/or local exhaust ventilation to control airborne levels to below exposure guidelines.
Exposure controls
Eye/face protection: wear safety goggles with side shields. Contact lenses should not be exposed. If vapor exposure causes eye discomfort, use a full-face respirator.
Skin protection: wear solvent-resistant gloves such as Viton, polyvinyl alcohol, or equivalent.
Respiratory protection: for nuisance exposures use type P95 (US) or type P1 (EU EN 143) particle respirator. For higher level protection use type OV/AG/P99 (US) or type ABEK-P2 (EU EN 143) respirator cartridges. Use respirators and components tested and approved under appropriate government standards such as NIOSH (US) or CEN (EU).
Body Protection: wear protective equipment according to general hygiene practice.
Personal Protection in Case of a Large Spill: splash goggles. Full suit. Boots. Gloves. Suggested protective clothing might not be sufficient; consult a specialist before handling this product.
Stability and reactivity
Reactivity

Disposal considerations
Waste treatment methods
Storage and disposal must be in accordance with applicable local, state & federal disposal regulations. Characterization and compliance with applicable laws are the responsibility solely of the generator.
