Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

According to Annex VII of the REACH Regulation EC 1907/2007, Column 2, the study does not need to be conducted if the melting point is above 300 °C. If the melting point is between 200 °C and 300 °C, a limit value based on measurement or a recognised calculation method is sufficient. Based on the differential Scanning Calorimetry, the decomposition of the substance is expected to be between 272 -361 °C.

However, in DSC experiments no endothermic peak corresponding to melting and boiling of the test substance was recorded, thus the lowest value accepted by EUSES has been reported for a complete Risk assessment (0.0000001 Pa).
