There is no reliable viscosity data for S278 – a value of 22 mm2.s-1will be read-across from DEHP - a structure which is similar in structure and expected properties to Santicizer 278.
The Merck Index gives a value of 22 mm2.s-1for DEHP’s static viscosity at 20°C. The Merck Index is a peer reviewed handbook and so can be considered reliable and suitable for use as the key study for this endpoint.
This is supported by a dynamic viscosity measurement of 860 mPas at 25°C from company data.
