13 June 2011 - 12 December 2011
Reliability:
1 (reliable without restriction)
Rationale for reliability incl. deficiencies:
guideline study
Qualifier:
according to guideline
Guideline:
OECD Guideline 105 (Water Solubility)
Deviations:
no
Qualifier:
according to guideline
Guideline:
EU Method A.6 (Water Solubility)
Deviations:
no
GLP compliance:
yes (incl. QA statement)
Type of method:
column elution method
Water solubility:
0.01 mg/L
Temp.:
20 °C
pH:
>= 6.4 - <= 7
Details on results:
The water solubility of LZ1554 is less than 0.01 mg/l. A mean recovery of approximately 90% of LZ1554 from fortified control samples was achieved and deemed to be acceptable, whilst no significant interfering peaks were evident in blank control solutions.
Conclusions:
Interpretation of results (migrated information): insoluble (< 0.1 mg/L)
LZ1554 was found to have a water solubility of less than 0.01 mg/l at 20°C. The substance was considered insoluble.
Executive summary:

The water solubility was determined in a GLP-compliant study according to OECD guideline no. 105 and EC test method A.6, applying the column elution method. LZ1554 was found to have a water solubility of less than 0.01 mg/l at 20°C. The substance was considered insoluble.
